Work & Mother is a network of fully equipped, amenitized lactation suites and an affiliated app that helps moms navigate their dual roles of being a parent and member of the workforce. The Suites satisfy employers legal obligations, while the App’s support resources guide moms from the prenatal period to breastfeeding stage and far beyond, as they simultaneously navigate new stages of their career and parenthood. 

Summary

We are currently seeking a Director of Real Estate and business development executive with a demonstrated deal making history spanning the spectrum of asset types and partnerships. This position will help develop and manage our portfolio of Work & Mother Suites. This position reports to the CEO and will collaborate with other internal departments as well as all 3rd party ownership and brokerage representatives. The Director of Real Estate will research, evaluate and analyze options and information that will lead to optimal decision-making for new Work & Mother locations. The incumbent will also be the main contact for construction, renovation, property management and maintenance of the real estate portfolio of the company. This position is a critical component of the company’s overall growth strategy. Strong financial as well as excellent leadership and communication skills is a must.

Responsibilities

  • Source and evaluate Suite locations for Work & Mother Suites and cultivate strategic partnerships with top CRE firms. Travel required for in person assessments.
  • Oversee the negotiation process for all real estate transactions.
  • Maintain existing relationships within commercial real estate industry
  • Prepare required documentation and proposals for new locations
  • Provide executive management with advice on the implications of real estate activities.
  • Develop and recommend an annual capital budget for new locations, repairs, maintenance and improvements to the company’s portfolio of Suites.
  • Provide timely and accurate analysis of real estate trends and forecasts, particularly around amenities and workplace benefits.
  • Conduct periodic Suite tours for outside parties.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Commercial Real Estate or Sales preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Google Workspace
  • Established industry relationships and broker network.
  • Ability to analyze, produce and interpret financial and budget reports.
  • Ability to complete multiple projects with competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization.
  • High level of integrity and dependability.

Marketing & Social Media Manager

Summary

We are currently seeking a Marketing & Social Media Manager to manage marketing efforts across all channels and promote our company’s brand and services. This position will oversee third party marketing teams and will implement content strategies on all social media platforms. Their duties include analyzing engagement data, identifying trends in customer interactions, and planning digital campaigns to build community online. The incumbent is someone whose expertise translates into increased brand awareness and profitability.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage our social media content and strategy as well as email marketing.
  • Develops tracking and reporting models to measure return on investment (ROI) and drive systematic optimization of interactive marketing campaigns.
  • Work with copywriters and designers to ensure content is informative and appealing.
  • Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies.
  • Develop and write digital content and maintain a content publishing editorial calendar.
  • Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization.
  • Promote and grow engagement with Work & Mother HUB services via all channels.
  • Manage social media interns.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in digital marketing or other relevant experience in online marketing.
  • Ability to complete multiple projects with competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Understanding of user-design, graphic design and interface principles and responsive mobile design.
  • Ability to interpret and apply brand standards to online marketing initiatives.
  • Digital marketing software experience such as web analytics, search engine optimization (SEO) software, and experience using content management systems.
  • Knowledge on various aspects of marketing, including brand marketing, PR, content management, digital marketing & performance marketing.
  • Excellent knowledge of Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and other social media best practices.
  • Understanding of the unique needs of working moms.
